The Feria de Murcia Golf Tournament took place at Hacienda Riquelme on Sunday 5 September following a shotgun start.  Nearly 80 players from the Murcia region took part on a very hot day! In the speech the host used comments like - 'marvellous course' and 'marvellous hospitality' and that they would be back next year!  This sort of tournament can do nothing but good for all of us. 

The presentations took place at the  new terrace bar. The bonus for us was that the lunch for the players was cooked in our very own kitchen!  Click here for photos of the presentation - and the enormous paella (which was delicious by the way!)

Next the 65th Spanish Golf Pro Championship comes to Riquelme at the end of the month.  Don't forget they need caddies and volunteers on the course.
