1. What is it?

The Padrón Municipal is the administrative record where the neighbours of a municipality are stated. That information constitutes a proof of residence in the municipality and of the habitual domicile.

The Padrón Municipal is the only source that the Government uses in order to obtain official numbers of population.


2. Advantages

· Assures the sanitary assistance in Spain, if later you apply for the S.S. Health Card.

· Allows the access to the Social Services of the Town hall.

· Allows to take part in the programs that every municipality develops to improve the living conditions of the neighbours.

· Accreditation of the domicile in order to join a school, university, etc.

. Inclusion in the electoral roll.

. Higher possibilities for Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort to press official Bodies.


3. How to register?

The owners can do it in Sucina

Place: Town Hall in Sucina, in front of the tobacconist's.

Timetable: Wednesday from 12:30 to 14:00 and Friday from 9:15 to 11:30.

The office closes in August (for holidays, re-opening in September).


Necessary Documentation:

  • NIE or Passport.
  • Title Deed in the case of being owners.
  • Rental Contract in the case of being renter

Bill of electricity, water or gas appointed to the person who is going be registered.
