Sucina & Local Area
Sucina is a small, typically Spanish village, just a 2 minute drive from the resort. The church and it’s square are the centre of the village, plus there are 2 supermarkets, banks, various shops, including hairdresser, bazaar and hardware shop, petrol station, a garage, and parking on the streets is free.

There are also many bars, cafés, and restaurants to choose from including Franc and Louise bar, with live entertainment during the summer months, and 3 large TVs where you can watch live Premier League games, Em's Bistro, and Bodega Mesón del Vino, which is a typical Spanish style restaurant serving tapas and steaks.

Sucina hosts annual fiestas, which start on the last weekend in September and finish in the first weekend in October, with many activities including parades, live music, and the crazy cart race.

The seaside town of Los Alcázares is one of the closest beaches, leading into the shallow water of the Mar Menor and is around 20 minutes drive.

And that’s not all; the surrounding area boasts over 2,600 years of culture and history, providing limitless possibilities for cultural activities and visits. Both the Roman theatre of Cartagena and the city of Murcia are only 25 minutes from the complex, with the latter being famous for its narrow streets and typical Spanish shops. Visit Murcia’s cathedral, built in the 15th century, and try the local cuisine in one of the typical Murcian squares.
